I’ve been a hair stylist for many years and have seen a lot of styles come and go.  That’s truly a big part of the fun!  I’ve always enjoyed the “make over” aspect of doing hair.  We are so fortunate to have a career where clients truly feel better when they leave the salon than when they arrived. We at Salon Emerald really strive to focus on our clients and hopefully we make them feel special and well taken care of.

I have been in the hair industry since 2005. I enjoy going to hair shows and taking classes to keep current on all the newest hair trends. One of my greatest passions is to help clients feel beautiful and more confident with themselves each and every visit. Hair can be overwhelming and frustrating, but with the right stylist it can be flattering and gorgeous. My main goal is to always be a step above the rest starting with a great consultation to figure out each clients desires!

I wanted to be in a profession where I could create something of artistic value that also brings out the inner beauty of others. I feel so much joy when a client sitting in my chair looks in the mirror and smiles because they feel beautiful. I love seeing new trends and being able to express my creativity. I believe Salon Emerald gives me the opportunity to do just that! Salon Emerald has an inviting and family like atmosphere. Not only is it a fun place to work, but clients can see that too!

Licensed as a nail technician since 1994, Sharon has 25 years of experience. She specializes in gel polish services using Gelish, Shellac, OPI products, CND acrylic, pink and white overlays using CND products, water manicures, and pedicures using Qtica Products. Sharon earned her esthetician license in 2007 and also offers facial waxing services using Satin Smooth waxes. Sharon especially enjoys educating her clients on methods that will keep their nails strong, healthy, and beautiful.

As the salon manager I am responsible for making sure the day to day operations at the salon run smoothly. I handle the bookkeeping, ordering of products, as well as keeping the salon clean, which is very important to all of us at Salon Emerald. I have been a client of Kelly Hoyt’s since 2012, and because of that I jumped at the opportunity to be a part of the team. I love the welcoming atmosphere that all the girls add to the Salon Emerald experience.
